With nearly 25 years in the real estate and education industries, Therita has accumulated many achievements that further certify her expertise in real estate. She is a member of NAREB (National Association of Real Estate Brokers) and the president of the Alabama Realtist Women's Council of NAREB. She has achieved Gold Level Sales Achievements and Club of Excellence awards in addition to obtaining the following designations: Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Military Residential Specialists), and Certified Distance Education Instructor designations.

Though she is a dedicated real estate professional, Therita stresses the importance of balancing work and personal life. She always makes time for herself and her family. She enjoys quiet time, building her relationship with God, going to the gym and spending time in her kitchen. She has been married to her husband, Eric Lawler, for 32 years. They have three children: Ashley, Eric Jr. and Aaron.

She is the owner of Lawler Real Estate Academy and now a proud owner of Lawler-Jones Real Estate and Development.
